Best online cabinets is an e-commerce platform with a focus on ready-to-assemble (RTA) and custom kitchen cabinets. They also offer cabinet accessories, expert consultation services, installation services, and tools that allow customers to create their own designs. They have been in operation since 2012, serving clients across the United States. 


The Challenge of Scaling Up

Like any business that strives to stir up a category, Best Online Cabinets faced some significant challenges scaling up. Most notably, having their operation spread across an array of disconnected apps brought a ton of complexity and caused inefficiencies. 

For instance, they were using a combination of tools to run daily operations, including Fishbowl ERP, Slack, Monday, and Freshsales. While these work great for specific tasks, managing all of them at the same time was turning into a growing challenge. 

While they used Fishbowl ERP for inventory management, it lacked accounting features, so they relied on QuickBooks for finances. Additionally, they also used tools such as Slack for internal communication, Monday.com for project management, and Freshsales for customer relationship management (CRM). 

Sales quotations, customer information, shipping details, and a ton of crucial information was locked in silos across different platforms which made it difficult to keep track of everything, collaborate smoothly, and stay organized. As a result, the company experienced delays and struggled to scale operations effectively. 

Consequently, Best online cabinet needed an integrated solution—a single platform where they could seamlessly manage all business functions, improve coordination, and streamline operations across departments. 


The Right Partner for Growth

Following an extensive search for the right ERP solutions, BOC selected Odoo for its comprehensive capabilities and flexibility. The implementation of Odoo played a key role with nearly half of all manual tasks getting automated which brought notable enhancements in inventory management, including better tracking and reporting.

By centralizing essential functions into a unified platform, BOC achieved seamless coordination between departments while eliminating the complexity of managing multiple disparate systems. The consolidation of sales, inventory control, customer relationship management, eliminated inefficiencies, reduced BOC’s reliance on multiple tools, and improved operational transparency.

Another major contribution from Webkul came from the Magento - Odoo integration they built, which effectively bridged the gap between their  e-commerce storefront and back-office operations. This integration streamlined order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain processes for BOC, allowing them to accommodate specialized business processes while maintaining the benefits of an integrated platform.
