Hello.

I have a business where I manufacture sweets. Recently shifted to odoo.

When creating a pricelist, is it possible to set the pricelist unit to dozens when the product's actual unit of measure is units?

For example, I have to make a pricelist for a customer. I sell to this customer in dozen. However, my products' standard of measure is units. I am getting an issue because I sell the dozen at MUR52. The unit price of the product then falls to 4.3333334. I am unable to get the correct pricing due to this.

Thank you.

  1. Enable UoM Feature:
    • Go to Settings ‣ Inventory and enable Units of Measure.
  2. Create a "Dozen" UoM:
    • Go to Inventory ‣ Configuration ‣ Units of Measure.
    • Create a new UoM:
      • Name: Dozen
      • Category: Same as Units
      • Ratio: 1 Dozen = 12 Units
      • Rounding Precision: 1
  3. Assign UoM to Product for Sales:
    • In Products ‣ General Information, set:
      • Unit of Measure (UoM): "Units" (for inventory tracking).
      • Purchase UoM: "Dozen" (if bought in dozens).
  4. Set the Correct Price in the Pricelist:
    • Go to Sales ‣ Configuration ‣ Pricelists.
    • Select the customer's pricelist.
    • Add a price rule:
      • Apply on: "Dozen"
      • Fixed Price: MUR52
