Beyond coatings, Sigwo Industries offers prototyping and small-batch production for a diverse range of products. From crafting custom wooden beer tap handles for local businesses to manufacturing precision replacement parts, their mission is to combine craftsmanship with innovation. A strong customer-centric approach and commitment to quality set them apart from competitors in their industry.

“When our clients bring us an idea or design, we can do small-batch prototyping for those parts, and we can also run small-batch production runs afterward. We wanted to offer quality parts and maintain a personal connection with our customers.”

Before adopting Odoo, Sigwo Industries relied on a WordPress site and spreadsheets. However, as their manufacturing needs grew, they quickly realized the limitations of their existing system. They needed a more sophisticated solution to track tasks, manage inventory, and streamline their sales processes.

"We used a WordPress site for invoicing and payments, but I knew early on that wouldn’t be enough. We needed a better way to track tasks, orders, and materials," Steven shared.

A friend introduced Steven to Odoo early in the company's journey. Within five to six months of operation, they transitioned to Odoo and never looked back. Sigwo Industries didn’t waste time searching for alternatives: Odoo checked all the boxes right away. 

Unlike other software that required extensive customization, Odoo provided a seamless all-in-one solution that addressed their core operational needs.

One of the biggest advantages of Odoo was the ability to keep all customer interactions, sales quotes, and invoices in one place. The built-in communication features ensured that customers and employees had seamless visibility over transactions.

"Customers can access it via email or their Odoo portal, making communication incredibly smooth," Steven said.


Odoo's automation allowed Sigwo Industries to efficiently track everything from sales quotes to invoices, manufacturing orders, and replenishment. This eliminated manual errors and improved inventory accuracy for both in-store and online sales. "We have an in-store retail presence and sell products online. Odoo makes it simple to transfer inventory between the two, ensuring we always have what we need."

 Email marketing & SEO analytics: Simplified marketing campaigns, allowing Sigwo Industries to track engagement and improve visibility on search engines.

The road ahead: scaling up?


Sigwo Industries is preparing for significant growth, both in its physical footprint and product offerings.

  • Expanding retail operations: They are increasing their retail space to showcase more in-house manufactured products.
  • Securing a major distribution deal: They are working to finalize a contract with a large distributor, which will enable them to scale production.
  • Investing in advanced equipment: A new high-capacity machine will further boost their manufacturing capabilities.

On the technology front, Steven plans to migrate to Odoo.SH for enhanced functionality and integrate Bitcoin payments to offer more flexible payment options to customers.
